Writing has been a life long love for me. Everything from article and academic writing, to poetry and music I have written. Every new subject I write about teaches me something I never knew before, and my life becomes richer for the experience.

While in high school, I wrote a lot of short stories, and extra credit essays. I was captivated by the power of words, and how I could put them together in such a way that others would enjoy my reading. Again, in college, I took every literature and writing class available for creative writing. I was asked to publish some work in the college newspaper, but I lost the work before I could submit it.

I would not let that stop me though. I continued with my classes and my writing. Because of finances, I could not finish my college career at that time. I now have plans on returning to obtain my Associates in business writing.

When I started out freelancing online, the first jobs I took were academic papers. Since I have such a love for literature, and an ability to understand sociological and scientific subjects, I was able to do this type of work very easily. The research was fun to me, and the pay helped to cover the bills. But after doing this type of writing for awhile, I began to feel some moral issues about it. I questioned the fact that I was performing someone else's course work for their academic career. If I expected no plagerism from myself, how could I continue to let others benefit from my writing? It was then I began turning else where to look for work.

That was about two years ago, when I decided to become a full fledged freelance writer. I was ready to go into business for myself. The bulk of my writing has been what is termed as "ghost writing" where after the client has payed, they receive full rights to the work. This has been a good way for me to practice, and hone my skills for more advanced projects to come.

I continue to ghost write for clients now, and have found that my niche is article writing. I enjoy writing web content pages, and have a good understanding of search engine optimization. I would like to expand my talents as an article writer, as I continue to do what I love for a living. Freelance writing.
